"Moved by the Tide, Tethered to History"
Our Process
-
Collection
Driftwood, fishing rope, discarded nets, and similar items are collected from coastal beaches throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
-
Processing & Sale
Items are sanitized, processed, and listed for sale. Sold items are packaged and shipped in 5-7 business days.
-
Product Traceability
Items will arrive with a QR code attached. Scan the QR code to see where the product was collected and learn about the History, Culture, and Biology of that location.

Collection methods are sustainable and environmentally conscious. Considerations are made for environmentally sensitive areas and areas housing species at risk. Removal of commercial fishing debris improves habitat and reduces microplastic pollution. Collected items are sanitized using environmentally responsible products to avoid the spread of germs or Aquatic Invasive Species.

Items are tracked through inventory by location. Each product is shipped with a QR code included. Customers may scan the QR code to access information about the area their product was collected from. Information may include History of the area, Biological information, and/or information about past and present commercial fishing activity.

The Tide brought the items to shore but they are forever Tethered to a place and a story.
